It is important to know who and what is one your beach. We walked past two nice dogs and when he stopped us for photos, we took the opportunity to see what they were getting up to.
We are all-seeing. But not like a butterfly.

Poodlezzz
What is with all this weird 'bug in the rug business'? Humans are strange. It should be snug as a canine on a couch.
I am having fun chilling with my sister at my house. He took us to the beach. It was hot and we ran around and then we both made a weepoo and then we came home.

Dogs can use tools too!
When you humans watch your 'wildlife' documentaries and your faithful canine lies close by and watches the screen, you have no idea how much we laugh! We've seen the programs about chimps and crows, the documentaries about animal brain size as a ratio to body size but how exactly do you think us blogging dogs and c.a.t.s manage to put stuff on the Interweb?
Simple. The laptop behind me belongs to a human. The tool we use is a human who slaves away at the keyboard, fingers bleeding, till the early hours; while we nap and eat.
Ahhhhhh. It's a dog's life.

You look, I will smell
We walked behind two dogs on the beach and because I started coughing again, the walking human kept us well behind them but Babette and I wanted to go faster to meet them so while Babette focused on getting there I used my Poodle nose to gather dog information for just in case.

It's my birthday!
This is my new toy, bone. My sister wants to take it from me so my mom will hide it till Babette goes home and then I can play.
Today I am three!
A sleepy birthday girl
Mia's mom just sent me this picture of my little sister. She is still sleeping! I am up and awake and it's not my birthday. She must have stayed up late to open presents.

Play date
It's lucky for us dogs that it wasn't raining this morning because we had a play date and this time they let me come along and I was well behaved and didn't bark at Kerneels and Sophie well eventually I did bark at them but only for a bit.
We got loads of treats and had fun.

Back to school
After all the recent sickness, holidays and girly issues we are back to training today.
Mia is getting much better at being near other dogs but she still managed to have a go at a little white scotty doglet and made two lady humutts paranoid their dogs were next!
We are learning to 'high 5'. I am not sure what that is but I do get treats when my pet human says those words and puts my paw on his.

We got a present!
Oh boy! Carob and biscuit doggie treats are delicious. We have not had these ones before and we want to eat them all up. Mia even jumped on the table after this photo and tried to get a mouthful of the little crunchy deliciousnessss. Thank you to our humans in Bantry Bay for our treats! We will try not to pee on your carpets next time.

This is clown
I love clown. It is my favourite toy but equal with Miertjie and Beerjie and Camel.

Spring flowers
I know that the weather is changing because these wild flowers come out once a year at the end of winter. That and the humans have cut us short again.
In fact, all our wild flowers are starting to come to life now, which means there are more places for boy doggies to leave little love messages for us girls!

I am the Alpha female
Every now and then I have to remind my little sister that I am the boss. She will lie on the floor and then I chew her neck and ears. It is also mildly erotic because after this the humans had to stop me from trying to make baby Poodles on the beach.

Finally! Parlour day!
Mia's mom decided that we needed our hair cuts this morning. We went from teddy bears to très chic. We will not be so hot on our walks as we move into spring. And we will get less risotto on our muzzles.

It was a trip to the airport!
Looking for trouble
He took us on a nice long walk today. We walked to Eerste Steen and then sat for photographs. We saw humans and a dog coming and then Mia went crazy and there was sand eveywhere and then I went crazy. He made us calm down because Mia still coughs a bit. And then we walked more, which was nice. We have been brushed and have Poodle perfume on so we must be getting ready for something.

Snug as a Poodle under a pink fleece blanket
I am still staying with my sister and her pet human and he washed our blankets today and they smell of flowers and they are soft but now I am tired and will be dreaming of my mom coming back so we can sleep in my house because she wakes up whenever I want her to unlike he who just sleeps and I have to wait till he is ready.

Another day, another smell
There are so many new and exciting smells on Babette's weepoo beach. I like to see who and what comes here eveytime he brings us to this beach and that is why my nose is always in the sand.

Poodlepothesis
If humans loved each other as much as we canines love our humans, would the world be full of unemployed dogs?
The risotto mystery
Why are we the first to be blamed when food goes missing? He was defrosting todays Poodle risotto and then put it on the outside table with our bowls ready to dish up and then he left everything to do something else.
The fact that he couldn't find the container of food and that we both had food over our muzzles up to our eyes does not necessarily mean we are the culprits. Those doves are cunning you know! Those holes in the plastic look like savage peck marks to us...
Back on the beach
Finally! He took us for our first decent walk in two weeks and it was nice. There was lots to smell and we did not bark at anyone. We are shaggy and it was warm today.

A Poodle doesn't need blood diamonds
All we need is an attentive pet human with a camera and we'll happily pose; move the head from left to right (even Poodles have a good side you know) and generally enjoy being adored and the centre of attention.
We prefer bloody chicken necks to blood diamonds anyway, which just sound very gritty.

The Heimlich manoeuvre, for dogs
Ummm, I know this may look like something else but apparently when two girl dogs live together, one of them gets an urge to eject stuck bones from the other's chest. My face says I don't buy that story. Mia
We will be angelic
He is standing and mixing Poodle risotto. We can smell it and it's yummy. If we look cute we may get something. As Poodles.

4 X 4 X Poodle
In order to ensure that you get to where you want to go (not your human), it is necessary to engage uni-diectional four paw traction control. I am almost over my kennel cough too and will prove it to he! Babette

Beach teaser walk only
We want to run and shout at other dogs but that makes us cough a lot and also walking makes us cough so today he made us walk very slowly with lots of 'sit' breaks and then we got to the beach and didnt go on it but we had a weepoo then went home. Mia

Kennel cough, cough
Another photo of sleeping Poodles but here we are both sick and they gave us injections and they give us antibiotics hidden in cheese and we get cough syrup sprayed into our mouths that we shake everywhere. Ha!

Sleepover at Mia's
My sister is staying with me and my mom because they are not here but I will share my things with her and we will have fun
