1,2,3,4. Who can that be at the door?

Mia is always the first to run to the front door. She is a very good guard dog and ferocious for a small Standard Poodle. She does tend to get a fright at the funniest things though - things like sticks and bits of stuff on the beach.

Charlie the Worsie will go 'wuuuu, wuuuuu, wuuuu' from wherever he is, being too old to sprint everywhere. We don't call him F.A.T, but he leans more towards the plus size of his kind, if you understand what this Poodle is telling you....

I tend to look in at the commotion with interest, being more reserved and ladylike than my tomboy sister. Every now and then I do get all barky and excited but then, I can tell the false alarms from the real visitors.

Tabby is the quietest of the four of us. She is not a very good guard cat and will not bark when people arrive or cars drive past. She seems to think that she can stare whatever it is into submission and doesn't understand the joy of barking at all. Cats are funny things really.

Muscling in on Charlie's couch.

It's been a while since I last put paw to keyboard. When the humans get busy they leave the computer alone and the screen lock password is unknown to us Poodles. I must get Mia to try and figure out what it is. She's good with cryptic stuff.

Charlie the Daschund and his human dad came back from their trip away last week. While Charlie was away I sort-of took over his day couch. Not sure how happy he would be to share it with me, today I decided to climb on WHILE he was on it! Well, he growled and barked but luckily this attracted Mia and then Charlie forgot about me and growled at Mia. He is a grumpy old thing.

My human took this photo after all the commotion. Charlie is looking very put out. All I have to say on the subject is, 'Should I book my hair appointment this week, or next week?'

Wintertime Lovin'

My sister and I have got that whole 'nuns in a convent' synchronised lady issues going on. Mia has suddenly discovered she can WOW boy doggies and here's a photo of Charlie the Worsie going gaga over the stunning French Poodle in his household. You can just spot my nose in the background as I check out the other two.

All I can say is that at the moment, our daily walks are a smorgasbord of lovely smells everywhere. All we seem to be able to pick up is boy doggies.

A bit of grass won't hurt anyone

The humans were like "let's give them some grass"; and we were like "that's way cool, thanks dudes".

In keeping with the whole like 'green-eco' theme, this is grown from Daisy the cockatiels' left-over seeds. Recycle and re-use, man. Yeah.

Meet the family: Charlie

This is my Charlie. Despite being a lot smaller than me and not looking much like a Poodle shape-wise, he's my older brother as we both share the same human mom and dad. How confusing to all these family relationships get?

Anycase, Charlie is an old, old boy, 18 human years I believe. He's blind in one eye, a tad overweight and a real grump at the best of times. Charlie is human daddy's boy. I like to tease Charlie by jumping close to him and nipping him on the neck. It drives him crazy and occasionally he moves fast enough to nip me or get a toothless mouthful of my Poodle-fur!

Charlie has his own 3 seater couch to lie on. What a lucky thing he is.
