This was taken by our human yesterday as we played in the dog park opposite Babette's home. You can see how fast I am. Babette likes to pirouette and Poodle box!

Girls eating food
OK, so this is a bit boring but my human made me post it because he thinks anything with a Poodle in it is worth posting. Sigh.
As a Poodle, can but humour the human - so here we go - a minute of us eating leftover Christmas lunch. We are experimenting with file quality on Youtube, this one is a bit large (5 Mb) so if you have a slow Intenet connection, may take a while to download.

Me and 'Dubai Cat'
I was on my way home the other day when I spotted 'Dubai Cat' at it's home. Of course, I pulled towards Dubai Cat and luckily my human tagged along with me. Dubai Cat decided it was better to greet me from behind the security door. I do get excited around little things because they are like toys!

Interacting with the neighbours
As a Melkbosstrand resident, I have to keep in touch with my neighbours. Normally we get to bark at each other on Fourth Avenue as I go to and from my walks. Mosttly we can see each other through fences, sometimes it's just a bark behind a wall, occasionally the front gate will be open and we meet in the street and rarely, we get to play together on the beach.
I've talked about the Min Pin before but here is a short video clip of us playing on the beach last month. Even though it is so small, I still find him exciting to play with but he seems to get tired quickly.

Video from Saturday's beach outing
This is the most the two of us have spent wading and jumping though water. Normally we sprint through the surf and sometimes jump into the waves but on Saturday, we both nearly swam! We want the humans to bring us here again. Mia and her human came to the beach this morning but there were loads of other humans and canines in the pools today - so they just had a walk together.
Perhaps we'll get lucky on our walk tomorrow!

Playing in a dusty, empty room
Me playing at Wrestlemania with my big sister, Babette. Dust makes me sneeze!
...and Poodlenaldo takes control of the spherical object!
Disclaimer: in order to avoid infringing on trademarks and copyrights held by the governing body of the popular sport involving a spherical object being passed without touching by hands by the people on a grassy field, references to dates, places etc. are not being directly mentioned, and thus we Poodles hope toavoid legal action (which it seems they are so quick to do with ANYTHING that could remotely be infringing on their rights during the run up to and after the event here).
It's a well known fact that next year (the one that follows 2009 and precedes 2011), there will be a HUGE field based team sporting event held in my home country. People from all over the world will be visiting us and some of these sporting events will be held in our home town that is colloquially known as the Mother City.
The sylised mascot of this event being held here in the country at the southern-most tip of Africa is a cartoon lion thingy with a spherical object used in this particular sport. I think that a Poodle would have been a better choice. Don't you?
Sorry for the shaky image. I reckon the human drank too much coffee.

We love to play with bouncy balls
The only problem with bouncy balls is that they move so quickly. Lucky us Poodles are quick off the mark too.

Never eat lying down?
Here is a short video of my crazy sister Mia, having an afternoon kibble snack.

Mia learns to dig
Although not caught right at the start, this is my little sister digging in sand. She watched me dig for a bit and decided she'd give it a go. You can see she is a bit hesitant. As her older sister, I supervised to make sure she did it correctly and safely.

Rough and tumble in the sand
There is nothing Mia and I love more than to run around the beach together. We Poodle box, jump, chase and very often run into the breaking waves. The humans have to deal with sand in the home for days afterwards.
Just add egg
More for those interested in Poodle behaviour. Watch us magically make egg yolk on kibbles disappear in just over a minute!

Reality Poodle TV
This is me eating a boiled egg. I get one most mornings. In fact, I'm so used to getting one just before the human pack leave home for work and drop me off at Mia's that I'll walk upstairs and let everyone know that there is still one morning task unfinished - and that's the ritual of the egg!

Camera clip: Poodles love attention
As dogs accustomed to being adored and told how cute we are, we just can not resist any form of camera. We'll gladly stop whatever it is we're doing to get some time in front of the lens - even licking it. We are Poodles.

Babette has something Mia wants
My little sister Mia is so cute. Her thing is to bring something whenever someone enters the house. It's either Beertjie (her favourite cuddly toy), a stick we play with or her bone of the moment. We get bought Ostrich bones. Don't ask which bones. I mean, who cares? They're huge, tasty and we love chewing them!
My thing is to muscle in on Mia's thing. I am her older sister after all!
